These convenient and inexpensive polyethylene collecting tubes with screw caps are great for use in the field, in the lab, and for shipping small insects. Tubes and caps are designed to seal tightly and can be used with ethyl alcohol or ethyl acetate. They have a white write-on label area 1-7/8"L x 7/8"W, (47 mm x 22 mm). The conical bottom does not allow the tube to stand alone. When available from the manufacturer, a polystyrene foam rack will be supplied with 8950B and 8951B packs of 50 tubes, but is not guaranteed to be included. The tubes are available in two sizes; sold in packs of 10 or packs of 50. 8950A and 8950B: 15 ml (.5 oz.) capacity, with 1 ml printed graduations. Dimensions with cap attached are 4-3/4"L x 7/8"W (120 mm x 22 mm). 8951A and 8951B: 50 ml (1.6 oz.) capacity, with 5 ml printed graduations. Dimensions with cap attached are 4-5/8"L x 1-3/8"W (118 mm x 34mm).
