BioQuip’s adaptation of an older design, this insect examination stage allows a pinned specimen to be rotated on two independent axes, while maintaining a relatively accurate focus under a microscope. Top, bottom, sides and ends of the insect may be observed without touching the pin or specimen. Two extra silicon rubber pin inserts are supplied with each stage. The stage base is cast of metal filled plastic resin; the arm and knob are brass, steel and latex. Dimensions: 2-13/16" x 1-7/16" x 1-11/16" high (71 x 37 x 43mm).
