Insect-a-Slip helps prevent some arthropods from climbing out of traps, cages, or other containers. It is a fluoropolymer resin (PTFE-30, DISP30), milky white suspension that can be applied to any smooth surface such as glass, plastic, or metal. This material is PFOA free.  The solution is brushed or wiped onto the inside top portion of the trap or container. The smoother the application the more effective. After it has dried, it forms a slick barrier that prevents arthropods from obtaining a foothold on the treated area.  Sometimes sold as 'Fluon®' by other companies.

The method of application and end use is strictly the responsibility of the end user.

This product is packaged in amber glass bottles or plastic gallon container, and is available in four sizes. This product should not be shaken or subjected to freezing.  Because it is a suspension, it should be turned every couple of weeks.  Shaking and/or freezing causes clumping that is not reversible.

Safety precaution: Vapors can be liberated that may be hazardous if inhaled. Open and use Insect-a-Slip only outdoors or in well-ventilated areas using local exhaust ventilation (LEV). MSDS is available on line in PDF format.
