BioQuip’s unique net fits into a coat pocket, backpack or briefcase and is ideal for inconspicuous use. The spring steel net ring folds to a 4" (10.2cm) diameter, and flicks out quickly to a 12" (30.5cm) diameter polyester aerial net. The 5-inch (12.7cm) anodized aluminum handle may be extended by adding 7312AA or 7312AB aluminum extensions, or by inserting a 5/8" (1.6cm) wood dowel of desired length. A red vinyl handle grip, 7357, helps spot a net in the field, protects hands, and keeps dirt and rock out of the handle. This collapsible net is refolded simply by twisting the top of the net ring and the handle each 180° in opposite directions so that sections of the ring fold into each other. It may be locked in closed position by slipping one of the three loops of the net ring over the "T" knob with the thumb. The pocket is available with a white polyester net bag (mesh size ~24 x 20), or with a close weave Dacron chiffon net bag (mesh size 70 x 70), 7212FA.
