Beetles are ravishingly beautiful and engagingly odd, often at the same time. A Box of Beetles offers you 100 examples of the most striking species in the world, photographed in high resolution and exquisite color. From the glittering metallic rose beetles that were worn by the Etruscans as jewelry, to the enormous (and aptly named) Titan beetle, which is almost 8 inches long, and strong enough to snap a pencil in half with its jaws. Each card has a gorgeous photograph on the front, and a brief description of the beetle on the back, including the genus and species. Flip through this pack of cards and marvel at its inhabitants, then choose your favorites to send, or display.
