Timer can be programmed for up to 16 non-overlapping, on/off functions over a 7-day period.  A small built-in solar charger continually recharges the on-board lithium battery that powers the clock, and has a life of 10 years.  An easy to read LCD screen, ½ x 1-1/2” (13 x 38 mm) can run traps up to 1600 watts.  A 12 volt power source is required to operate the timer, please see 2861 Battery Pack as a good option.

The timer is enclosed in an ABS plastic box, 5-1/4 x 3 x 2” (133 x 76 x 51 mm) and has a rubber booted toggle switch to change from 6 to 12 volts.  A 9 ft (2.7m) 18-gauge power cord is equipped with a male banana plug and 3 ft (.9 m) output cord with female receptacle.

Operational notes:
For users working is wet environments the clock, though water resistant, is not waterproof. The window for the solar charger and LCD screen are not sealed.  Gently applying a piece of clear tape or plastic bag over the timer can help prevent the entry of water into the timer, should the user decide additional protection is required.
