BioQuip offers an alternative brand of insect pins manufactured in the Czech Republic. These high quality black insect pins feature nylon heads, sharp points, and smooth shafts. They are fabricated from spring steel with black enamel finish for anti-rust protection. Length is 37 mm (1.46”)*. Pin diameters start at .25mm/.010" for #000 and increase in diameter by +.05mm/.002" for each size pin. The most commonly used sizes for general pinning are #2 and #3.
