These utility grade insect pins are manufactured in England. They provides an inexpensive alternative to the traditional continental European variety. Asta pins are made of high carbon tempered spring steel wire with black japanned finish. They have upset heads (integral part of the shaft), and fine ground points. Length is ~38mm. For student or beginner use only. Packed in clear plastic boxes containing approximately 100 pins. Available in one size only: #4 (.58mm diameter).
