Ideal for Lepidopterists or entomology classes, this kit provides components for 12 spreading boards as described for the 1023E board. User can assemble boards at considerably lower cost than if purchased in completed form. Center groove in the boards may be set at whatever width is required; or with the purchase of optional hardware kit, groove may be made adjustable from 0 to 7/8". Boards are 12" long, and basswood pinning surfaces are 2" wide. Balsa pinning strip may be set at height preferred by the user. A hammer is the only tool required for assembling boards with fixed pinning surfaces. A 3/16" drill is needed to complete adjustable boards. Instructions are included in each kit.
