Plastic Tubes

Lightweight, clear styrene tubes with white polystyrene snap-on caps are practical for field and lab use. The 8909 tube is used in the 1135A aspirator. Extra tubes are convenient when collecting a large number or several different species with an aspirator.

Plastic tubes are ideal containers for temporarily holding live specimens from many insect orders. They are compatible with alcohol for a short period of time, but they are not "sealable' and will leak if tipped. They are not compatible with ethyl acetate.

Five smaller sizes were added in 2014. Eleven sizes, from 1 dram to 40 drams, are now offered. Tubes are sold in packs of one dozen (12). Quantity pricing for 12 packs (144) of the same size is available.
