The charger offers multiple protection levels for situations such as overheating, short circuit, reverse connection and low voltage.  Input voltage is auto switching AC 110/240V - 50/60 Hz. A foreign plug adapter is needed for use out of the United States.  A spade tip adapter is provided to allow the charging clips to connect to a battery. (Please make sure battery clips do not contact each other while battery charger is energized.) See the User Manual for additional information.
