BioQuip’s durable point punches are invaluable tools for mounting very small insects. Standard size points, with either round or square base, are 1/4" (6mm) long. Larger size points, 1/2" (13mm) with either round or square base, are also available. Points are punched from card stock or clear acetate, and specimens are then glued to the points.

1161A and 1161B point punches are made in the U.S.A.

Responding to customers' requests, two additional point punches were added in August 2011. They are:
1161C - points are 9.2mm long, 2.7mm base, .7mm tip; made in the U.S.A.
1161D - points are 11mm long, 3mm base, 1mm tip; made in the U.S.A.

BioQuip's special value 1150A, 1150B, 1150C and 1150D stainless steel point punches are imported.
